I have earned the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) credential. The credential is a rigorous program administered by IRS-approved education providers. The certification gives me the right to represent my clients before the IRS customer service, revenue agents, and the tax advocates’ office. Clients would still need a CPA, attorney, or an Enrolled Agent for representation before the tax court or IRS officials other than the ones identified.
